I'm interested, but I have a few questions. :)

First, how potent are the scents for the warmers? Do they fill the room or maybe even the entire house when they're burned?

Also, currently, I use Yankee Candle. If you've used Yankee Candle, how to you think Scentsy compares?

And one more little thing, with the weather heating up like it is, how well do you think the Scentsy products will survive a trip to Southern California? :)

Thanks!

Awesome! I barely signed up yesterday, so no starter kit and not a lot of first-hand experience, but hopefully you can bear with me. ;)

The nifty thing about these is that you can control the potentcy depending on how many pieces you pile up in the warmer. The $5 bar is separated out into 8 pieces I think. I started with one, but I had the warmer in a corner so the cats couldn't get to it and the living room is large so I ended up adding another, but I'll probably throw a couple more in there tonight. I'm told each cube last 60-80 hours. And it just goes into a wax blob until you light it up again.

I haven't been around Yankee Candles recently since it just comes around here during a certain craft show, so I can't say for sure. :(

lol, I had the same thought, which is why I'm going nowhere near their weird fondue thing. If you order straight from the company they'll ship it with frozen packs. It was already 100 here, so the pack was already melted, but the wax was just slight soft to the touch. I thought they actually way overpackaged for just my one scent bar with a thermal bag and two ice packs, but at least that means they're careful! I pulled them out in case I need to send samples or something out, though the lady who sponsored me was afraid of the melting and dipped her business card in the wax and put that in a small bag and mailed it and it came here fine, as well.

I hope I get the Starter kit fast so I can try out all the scents and get a better grasp on what to recommend. If you have any other questions, please feel free. It helps me learn too!

Actually, do they sell Yankee Candles in regular stores? I'll check around and see when I'm out tonight or tomorrow and maybe I can find some!

Thank you for answering my questions! Good to know about the ice packs. That's really cool on Scentsy's part. It's only been in the 80s around here, but it's only going to climb. Speaking of ordering, when I order through you does the order still come straight from the Scentsy warehouse, or do they ship to you and then you to me?

I know Hallmark stores sell Yankee Candles, but other than that, I don't know. We used to have an actual Yankee Candle store in my area, but now the closest one is over 30 miles away.

It will go straight from them to you. I had that question when I ordered too since the lady who sponsored me offered samples and I thought she would include them in the order, but she mailed the catalogue and other information seperately. So once I get my stuffs going I can make you up samples or something and just send those along on their own. The things I ordered from the website came in...about a week later. Actually it looks like I ordered on a Friday, probably afternoon and it got here the following Thursday. No shipping notice or tracking number though, just FYI.

Ah, our Hallmark store just closed down. There was another boutique that had them but that was ages ago.
