Reflections
Went through reading older live journal posts from 2003-2004. And then it just kind of ended. ^_^ Hee hee, I'm so lame with continuity on anything. Even diaries when I was younger have about 10 pages and then they're blank. Just my way, I suppose. No sticktoitiveness or whatever that word is.
Anyhow, tonight is the second installment of the cake decorating class me and mom are taking thru Hobby Lobby. She already knows most of it and I don't even like cake, but it's cheap and something to do. Maybe I"ll be able to make one for a friend some day, though too bad Robert's is coming up too soon. I need to learn to frost naked men! Quickly!
I'm also trying to learn a whole other boatload of trades, which is probably the dumbest thing I could be doing, but since it's a half-assed attempt at all of them...well, I guess that shouldn't be a "but" since it buys into the dumbest thing. Yeah, so juggling, magic and photography (gee, where'd this stuff come from..?), though obviously the photography has captured my interest the greatest. I dunno if I'll ever want to get into the specifics as much as Tatton and his friends, but if I want to really capture beauty, I guess I should. I'm gonna wait and see if I get bored of it first though.
It would be nice to find a passion in life, cause it might help me figure out what my next job should be. Maybe I'll try and learn to do astrology charts, too. But one thing's for sure, is that I have no intention whatsoever of dying in this place like everybody else.
Robert's birthday is coming up next Wed, but we're going to celebrate it Sunday cause that's easier. And even though I only got him a few presents, I am going to be completely selfish and drag him around town with me on a photography expedition to try and take neat photos. So let me know if you guys have any ideas!
My plans for playing through Final Fantasies in order is progressing slowly. I'm at the very end of 2, but it's a constant struggle to pick it up. I don't know WHAT is with my horrible aversion to just finishing things!! But in all fairness, it's a pretty crappy game, so there's that too. Tatton got me III for my birthday, but I still need to pick up 4 and 5. I'll definately picked up 6 the day it's out though. I'm swooning just thinking about it!! >_< I love that game so! I'm also near the end of Castlevania: PoR, but that's been sitting there for a couple months now....
I'll be going back to Columbus in April for Chris and Linda's wedding. I'm looking forward to it and trying soooooooooo hard not to spend money, but it sure does suck. Man, why do plane tickets have to cost so much? I want to buy them earlier this time, but I don't know if my vacation will get approved this early since I won't technically have it til march. And that doesn't leave much time. Le sigh.
Hmm...I guess that's enough of an update for now. I'm not even going to say that I'll try harder from here on out cause that always seems to be a death knell in actually doing the things I say I will. 'Til we meet again!
