Why does everything have to cost money?
Jun. 15th, 2009 10:09 amSo, I was planning on taking all six cats into the vet on my week off this month, but for some reason I wasn't even thinking of the cost. I'm such a spaz. I was just thinking logistics til mom's like "have fun with the bills". >_< So I think I'm just going to take Chiblet since she's oldest and Big White since he's most exposed that week and then 2 more each month. By that time tick and flea season should be over too, so I won't have to worry about that either.
I've also realized that I'm in need of new glasses since I can't read road signs that until they're way too close. *sigh* I was doing so good with the steady prescription. Damn aging/computers/video games. I need to call Walmart and see if they take my insurance, but...I hate making phone calls.
I did get my hair appt made at least. I would've preferred last Saturday, but she was going on vacation, so I have to wait it out another week. It's seriously bugging so it will be none too soon. I told her bright red and hopefully it goes better than the epic blue/green fail of last time.
Friday, George tuned me in to the fact that you can buy and download games straight to your PSP so after fussing with that all day, I went out and price-checked every damn store in town only to end up back at Walmart for the memory stick. You'd think that would be a standarized price, but apparently not. So I've already got Wild Arms on there and working and FF7 is next. Probably Destruction Derby, Suikoden, Tekken 2 and Resident Evil somewhere down the line as well. I don't really need those ones, but I'm hoping if I support this, they'll release more games on there. It's soooo nice not having load times, even if it's smaller. And I look forward to letting Knights of the Round run it's course while I watch TV or read a book.
And there's a giantass wolf spider in my living room, which I'm still undecided if I should kill it or not. Stupid spiders, I wish you wouldn't put me in this position...
Oh yeah, Robert and I got elected Staff Association again. Guess we did something right! Go StaffAss.!
