Dec. 27th, 2007 06:29 pmWell, happy holidays, I jacked up my shoulder again. I couldn't get back to work after lunch and could barely move and ended up eating half a bag of m&ms for lunch so then I had crippling pain AND a stomacheache. The sad thing is, it's probably caused by playing DS and Wii this past week since I've done neither for a very long time. Just showing how horridly out of shape I've become. Time to bust out Maya again. At least the living room's still clean from having company over.
In better news, I enjoyed our get together on Sunday. It went pretty well, everyone got along okay and took equal brunts of teasing. It also got me playing video games again which I hadn't done in forever. Christmas haul was good. Hello Kitty calendar, candy, Suiseiseki pullip, a big set of barbie furniture, DS games-Puzzle Quest, Mario Party DS and Cooking Mama 2. My mom rocks (sorry, Xarx). I've been switching between the latter two and both are pretty good. League of Extrodinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier and Fables graphic novels too. Oh and Okami! The writer's strike is actually proving useful since it's allowed me to clear off the DVR and do other things. Been on a Kitchen Nightmares binge though so I keep watching repeats I've seen a bunch already. And working through Frasier since I just got the last set. Yay! A collection completion! That happens entirely too rarely.
Gamestop/EB did their buy 2 get 1 free, but one of the games I went back for was gone!! Grrr. Oh well, I picked up Guilty Gear Isuka which I've been wanting since it came out, Touch Dectective and Rule of Rose. It looks creepy, but I'll play it for Robert if he ever breaks free of Paul. :P
In dolly news, I've gotten everybody in the curio cabinet though most have to be sitting. Got Sooni in the mail and hoping Mercu comes soon! She's been the only one I'd consider a "grail", so I'll be glad not to have to worry about her anymore. I passed on preordering Prunella but seeing the pictures of her final version, I love her eyeshadow. Looking over my girls, their eye makeup is all really bland except for Jupi so I finally understand what everyone means about liking the older ones, since apart from Jupi, my oldest is Lan Ake. Maguna looks pretty nice too, but I'm thinking he'll be readily available. I got uncanricky's stock so now I want to make some crazy fighting girl with a death ball. Kind of like that Kira chick in Soul calibur w/ the hula hoops. I got an awesome purple wig so since my Kstarr wig didn't come out near how I wanted, I'll abandon the Chiblet custom for now and turn Stica into a crazy colored up girl. I need to paint shoes for that contest too. Damn muscles. Oh! And I'm getting a Nazi hat from Dollmore in addition to some glasses. The one I liked more was smaller but maybe I'll get it next time for the Dals.
