Photo Contest
Nov. 8th, 2007 08:30 amAlright, my friends, the first challenge has been issued! And since my creativity's been the suck lately, I'm asking you all for ideas/inspiration again, lol. Here's the link to the contest. They're actually going to post entries as she gets them so I'll be able to keep track of how other people are doing. The theme is Red, so if ya'll have suggestions, shoot 'em at me, cause I'm pretty sure I have zero red clothing for boys!

Date: 2007-11-08 09:29 pm (UTC)Nothing but a red ribbon wrapped around his naked body (porno promo! lol)
Find some kind of red flower like a rose & pose him by it.
Maybe some apples would work too? Ooo... dress him up like a worm & have him eating on the apples. ^_^
And for random, not even slightly usealby idea I toss out there:
Pissing on a fire hydrant!

Date: 2007-11-09 03:38 am (UTC)* Stop by Hastings and pick up one of the cheapest laser pointers you can find
* Find a platform that you can stand your Taeyang on that's slightly taller than your camera on the little tripod I sent you
* Set your Taeyang up so he can stand on his own
* Play around with framing him with variations of facial profiles or head shots. Just make sure there's nothing but the sky behind him.
* Set your camera to 100 ISO
* Shoot in Manual Mode
* Play with various aperture settings. I'll have to look at your manual and suggest some settings if you like
* Set the time value to 15-30 seconds
* Set the shooting mode to timer
* Hit the shutter release and watch for the timer to run out and the camera to start taking the picture
* While it's taking the picture, turn the laser on and wave it back and forth across the Taeyang.
At the end of all the hard work, you'll get an effect like this:
I thought the lasers were over done in this shot. If I could go back, I would have done it with half as many. Also because there was stuff in the background of this shot and it was illuminated by a street lamp, the background ruins it. If you do this with just the sky in the background, you'll end up with mostly black (like the lower right corner). I thought of a couple other things, but this one was the coolest. If you want to give this a shot, just let me know and I'll be happy to help you.
