On sunsets, friendships and thoughts left unsaid...

Heeee. Guess what I saw when I came home from work tonight? It's finally that season! Be prepared to be sunset-spammed on flickr! I'm working on cleaning it up and I'll try to be more selective from now on though. I'm so excited. I think the sunsets are the only thing besides my friends and family that I would miss most if I had to move away.


Which has led me to weird thoughts so bear with me.

I've been a lame friend, a bad acquaintance and an even worse girlfriend. But I just want everyone to know that even though I may not reply to what you say or just give a glib response, I think about you all.I read about your lives, your troubles, your worries and I do care. I think about you a lot and I usually write responses to everyone in my head. Unfortunately, I take several days to perfect what I'm going to say and by then I feel it's lost its relevance and it goes unsaid. For that, I apologize. Because I want you to know that I care about you. Even those of you I've never met and probably never will, or those of you that just added me through mutual friends or interests or whom I've barely exchanged two words with. We've found each other somehow, through the choices we've made and the paths we've taken and now we've met and I know you and you are important to me. Yes, you. And I know some of you are going through tough times now, and all of us will end up going through something in the future, so I hope that each of you has something in your life that inspires you, fills your heart with warmth and love and lets you know that there's beauty in this world.

I just wanted you to know that you are special.
You are important to me.
And there's at least one person out there watching the sun set and wishing you the best always and forever. Here's to hoping the sun rises on a better day for you.

We've had our ups & downs as friends but you've come back in the end.
I care about all that goes on in your life too & wish you nothing but happiness in the future. Although I know bad times will come again... they always do but so do good times.
You keep your head up & keep cheering up the rest of us whenever you can! We'll always do the same for you. And now I have an urge to photograph sunsets!

P.S. I'm a week-later comment offender too. I do it all the damn time. You should worry about it. People love getting comments even if they are insanely late. ^_^

Aw, thanks. I think I meant more lame in the not really showing affection for people per the whole souless thing. I dunno. Sunsets give me weird feelings. :/

I think my problem is that I don't get email notices that people replied, so I just assume the same is true of others and it'll never get viewed.
You should totally take sunset pics. We can start our own photogroup of Sunsets around the World! Or Sunsets of the Southwest! Or something like that.
I suppose it doesn't help that I change personalities every few months and have weird spazz-outs like this. :p

I just noticed my glaringly horrible typo. That should read: "You should not worry about it."

I'd love to take sunset photos for you but I doubt my little cell cam is up to the challenge. Maybe if I have tax rebate left over after the move, I'll get a nice digital camera. I've been wanting one for years.
