More doll crap...

zalliaWell, the OM doesn't think I'm anywhere near getting fired and with the prez-elect looking to hand out more cash, I'm feeling better about my purchasing power. I redressed all the bjds the other day when I was home sick and now I want a new one. But I can't decide which to get. I can go a bit cheaper and get a tiny, I'm looking at Puki Pongpong or the crazy bling-eyed cat, or wait til after the holidays and get another big girl-the new Cinderella doll from AS, but I can't decide which version I like more.

I'm leaning more towards the first one. And they're having a sale where you get a free head for spending $500. Not sure what the hell I'll do with a head since that just means I have to buy a body too....but then a lot of other companies seem to be having holiday promotions too.

And I ended up buying an Ellowyne Wilde to tide me over so that I can have *something* coming in the mail. Someone listed up a 2nd hand Pale Memories and since Eskaline posted those pictures of her's with the beautiful eyes on her flickr, I've been wanting one ever since. So no crazy cat yet.
I'm going to have to pull a photoshoot out of my hat on my lunch break today too. The pics had been due on tuesdays and now suddenly due on saturday and of course i'm working the weekend. And my mom gave me a concept idea, but i'm not sure how i'm going to pull this off considering it hinges on chocolate and fire....
Anyways, here's some pics I meant to do a month ago when everyone was posting pics of their doll setups and then I just never got around to it myself. >_>
The BJDs are on the right of the tv, so I can appreciate them when stuff gets boring, lol.
and the Tonner fam is above the TV, though I'm going to have to move the little apples over to make room for Pale Memories:
Bipolar Elf's staying true to her nature and trying to find an style that fits. She was going militant for awhile:
But I wanted to work the sister thing at the moment:
That was the best shot I got of my stripes. :/ They don't seem to be lasting as long as the purple either. *sigh* I'm thinking of going blue underneath and green stripes on top for next time though?
Anyways, I finally found a decent outfit for the flower fairy niblet-they had tinkerbell doll outfits for 1.99 at Factory 2U and with a little tucking, they look just right! Wish they'd had the ones on the back though...
Got the purple eyes in which look much better than the brown, but still searching for that perfect wig. That blue tribble behind her was supposed to be it, but it's ginormous both in cut and length. I like the one MissMollyMayhem got on hers though, so I may go shopping around there next since the mohair route's so expensive.
I had an unforseen problem with Tessa's new eyes. They were full globe and the s-hook is mounted in some weird thing so I can't really position them well, which is why she looks semi-cross-eyed. Not sure I like the green either, so now I'm looking for a good pair of purple. *sigh* Freaking dolls...
You can see why I was kind of miffed on the "royal purple"ness of that fer. Still a gorgeous dress. I couldn't figure out the arm warmers though and the choker was too much, so I want to maker her a necklace or something.
Haughty Essential Red definately needs her own outfit, too, but I have no idea what. Business power suit? Luxurious gown? Dominatrix leather? Right now it's a hot mess though. :(

I'm mad that I missed a fully stock Nevermore that went for $87(retails at $140) and a lot of people just take the clothes and sell the nude ones for about half the price. And they're about MSD sized to redress. I'm keeping an eye out there to try and get my mom a cheap one for Christmas since at least 2 that reside with me are technically hers. *^^
