zalliaStupid LJ went down as soon as I posted yesterday. :P Bleh on you, LJ. :P
Anyhow, trial was cancelled for today, so I didn't have to go in. I want to serve, but I'm glad it's not so soon since there's a lot going on at work that I need to get done. It's funny though, there was a lady at the orientation and I knew her from somewhere and just couldn't come up with it, but was thinking somebody's cleaning lady? But the only one I knew was from my old office but we went shopping that night and oh! She works at the Goodwill! lol It's so weird to see people out of context. But we went last night too, and she must've recognized me as well, cause she was asking if I'd called in yet and cheering that we didn't have to go in.
I went to Hastings to get a calendar cause not having a new one in the bedroom is bugging, but they're still only 50% off and I just can't find any that I really like. No astrological ones, all the artwork ones are slutty vampires/fantasy women, the ones from tv shows I like have crappy pictures (The Office, 30 Rock, Officespace, The Amazing Race, Planet Earth, etc). Hell, Tina Fey's not even *smiling* in her pic on the 30 Rock one! It's a comedy show, come on! It's not even from an episode, just her sitting in front of a white backdrop. I wish they'd done a Heroes so I could at least have a Zachary Quinto staring at me for a month...*Drool* Actually, is there one online maybe? Hm.
My Gus should be here today! Yay! Hopefully the denverdoll stuff too, even though the tracking still hasn't updated, but that stuff usually comes 2 days after since it's not far to go. Oh and I Just checked and MintonCard is finally back up!! Gus can get a girl wig! Yes!! Still trying to find an outfit I like though. Must avoid rement temptation...
I don't know when Pullip preorders ship these days. Around the 20th? I'll have that to look forward too, soon. Stuff in the mail is always fun. Getting to obsessively check the tracking and then getting all pissed when it's not updated.
And my stupid vcr has decided to reject and actively eat tapes, so I can't watch the True Blood ones my mom taped for me. I'm hoping the extra vcr will work, but I keep falling asleep on the couch, so hopefully this weekend I can drag it in there and it will work. If not, I'll just start watching My So-Called Life and wait til May. Thanks, MissMollyMayhem, for hooking me up!!
