Beautiful Night

zalliaUgh, watching the tape of our presentation last night reminded me of how much I despise my voice. Seriously, it hasn't changed since I was 8. It's high and whiney...oh yeah, it also highlighted my speech impediments. I hadn't even thought of that in awhile, but I used to have to take speech therapy in elementary school. Apparently it didn't help.
This weekend looks to be busy. I'll be working at the Art Faire for the Great Biannual Cancelling of the Debts. Mom even wore her "Bank of Mom" shirt today. Also, Naomi said we're invited to Leo's brother's wedding dance reception. I guess I'll go, though it'll probably make me feel bad for not being with anyone. I can't ask people out and hell, I've never even been on a date. Just too weird. I'd rather get to know someone first before just asking them out.
I'm going to try to get a job this summer, but it kinda scares me. I worry so much about messing up and having to ask people for help and generally looking dumb. Robert said we could meet Paul this weekend, but we'll just have to see if that actually works out.
On the bright side though, Econ was let out early cause the teacher was sick and so her husband came to just pass out papers. So I got to drive home just as the sun was setting and it was just soooo beautiful. Bright blue sky, the clouds were pink and orange. And on the bypass I had a perfect view of the sun hitting Capitan mountain. There's farmland on either side and it was just so picturesque. I wish I'd had a camera. I'll take Tatton out there when he comes though, since he's the picture guy. It had actually cooled down too and I was listening to TRF and the singer just has such a pure and lovely voice. It was very peaceful.
And now since I have extra time tonight, I can hopefully clean my room! I never thought I'd look forward to it, but the sooner I do that, the sooner I'll have room to work out. It's also just gotten way to messy and it's only worse with the two younger cats chasing each other around. Plus I need to find my CSI cd and my Ringu VCDs.
New Mexico sunsets are the best.
