zalliaWell, snarky_imp is attempting to nudge me out of my livejournal coma and since someone has noticed that I haven't posted for 2 1/2 months (ouch...) I feel the need to oblige. It hasn't been an intentional avoidance, I stop by here several times a day to check everyone's posts, and I've had stuff to say, I just...I'm not even sure. LJ lethargy, I guess? Here's what I had started on a few weeks ago apparently:
"Wow, almost 2 months since I last posted. Guess I am due for an update. Let's see, the last post was about our little butterscotch kitten and he's doing just fine. His name is Remy now and he's a little spaz baby still, and getting him fixed doesn't seem to have quelled that. I'm still his mama though, so all is well. Princess Meow Meow is still...there. She seems content to just sleep in the yard and be pretty.

At least I remember what I was going to say. I wore a dress to work. Twice! Everyone pretty much flipped their shit as a result, as I knew they would. Just a simple black dress that I wore with the kickass bright green boots I found at Walmart. Everyone's also been commenting on the new shirts I've bought, which...are new, but not really that different from what I normally wear? I guess I just wear the other stuff too much. I don't know why people even make note of these things. I got some awesome ninja cowl shirts though and of course, more kickass shoes from Hot Topic.
I've been doing better about playing more games, since I've become more of a collector than a gamer, at this point. I bought a Wii, don't know if that was mentioned. So I started Paper Mario and have New Super Mario Bros on its way and I'm trying to re-unlock everything on Mario Kart. Not as much fun as I thought it would be. One of our new co-workers, Daniel, is a nerd, so I've had him and Robert over a couple times for some gaming. Not often enough to actually start an involved game though. He actually has quite the busy social life, though most of it is D&D. ;P
I've flaked out on NaNoWriMo for the...3rd time I believe.
Yesterday, the bags I ordered for work back in August(!!) finally came in though. I was so relieved! The boss liked them too. I was super-worried since they never even sent me a proof to check over even though they said the artwork was messed up. And then 400 bags just show up with no other reply! Geez!
I have some doll things to talk about, but I think I'll just make that a seperate post.
Just got off a stressful week with the cats. Little Gray was drooling a LOT and I had no idea why. Still don't, except for all the frightening things the internet said it could be. I'm hoping he just tried to eat a stick and poked his tongue or something. I hate that mystery stuff cause it's like do I stress them out more by taking them to the vet and then shift work and pay $60 to find out nothing's wrong? Or do I wait around worrying and wonder if I'm going to come home to a dead cat. -_- At least kids can somewhat tell you what's wrong. Then Sasha had one of her bad runs of diarreah at the same time. I think it's cause I had been giving her a tiny bit of the wet food I give to the outside cats, but only a spoonful. She just likes it so much, I thought she could handle that small amount. But it might've been the stress of having new people over too. But she has, what I'll call "lazy sphincter" which means I have a whole lot of cleaning up to do throughout the week. It lasted a lot longer than normally, so I bought some medicine and forced it on her and then found out I was doing it wrong, but thankfully, THANKFULLY she seems over it now.
And in less grossness, I finally got new glasses. I though my eyesight was getting worse, but when I saw the dr. he said the rx was the same. But when I went up to Alb and got a new pair, I realized it was just that my old ones had become so tinted and scratched, that I couldn't see as well! Geez! I guess it is good to get a new pair at least every other year.
I guess that's about it for now. Doll post will probably follow shortly. :P
