Dolls: I've gotten so lame about taking pictures. Well, the weather and dead everything isn't really helping. I really want a purple wig for the last bjd I purchased, but the only ones are overseas and they want $23 shipping! WTF! And there wasn't anything new on the horizon until those dang lati ninjas, but that discussions in the previous post.

I got 5 of the Karito Kids at the Tuesday Morning sale and finally received the 6th from Denver Doll. For some reason, I'm just totally enamoured of them. I really want to like the American Girls, but none of them really strike me and just have a kind of sameness to the faces, I guess? And the buckteeth thing bothers me. These look a little older, too. I'm redressing everybody first before I do a real photoshoot, but I'm still waiting for stuff in the mail since now that I want those generation girl clothes, they're not to be found. :p

Video Games: I think this was the first Christmas I didn't ask for or receive video games from my parents, but I did from Robert since I knew he would priceshop on them, whereas mom definately wouldn't. And with all my new games I've gotten at recent sales, what am I playing? Monster Rancher 2 from back on the PSone. I'm so bad about just going back to the familiar. I lost my memory card with my superawesome game going on though, so I guess it's a rebuilding. AND they're bringing out the DS one in March! Sweet! At the same time as Pokemon! D'oh! Actually, I wouldn't even bother with it, but it will give Robert, Daniel and I something to do together. Theresia was HI-larious, though, so once I refind my ds charger I'll start playing that during breaks again.

Books: The library finally finally! got in Death Note, so after a snafu at the front desk (Daniel...) I got the whole series checked out at once. I'm currently on 7 of 13. I'm actually sort of getting back into anime and watching DN, FMA and Bleach on adult swim and Naruto Shippuden on Disney. A number of others are popping up on other networks, but I'm sticking with these. Even though I've missed about a hundred episodes of Bleach as far as I can tell.

Last book of Gentlemen's Alliance will come out next month so I can finish off that series. Keeping up with Vampire Knight when the new one comes out at the Library, though this incest thing in the latest is creeping me out hardcore. And I got more volumes of Full Moon for Christmas and it's a short series, so I'll be back into that when I'm done with DN. Shoujo on the page and shonen on the tv it seems. I also got the first two Stand graphic novels from amazon, which I hope I can read this weekend, since it will be quite a while before I can tackle the novel. Looks like they're doing the Talisman, too. One of these days I'll read an actual Stephen King novel...

TV: I've started watching Hoarders and it's really been making me evaluate a lot of my thought process and behaviors. I really think I'm like on the cusp of all out being like those people. I find them saying a lot of the things that I think, so it's making me try extra hard to avoid doing a lot of the things I've previously done. Intervention just usually makes me mad, however. Gave up on crime dramas because they either got way too stupid, way too repetitive or way too creepy. Newsmagazine shows are probably next. That's okay, cause there's plenty of cooking and fashion shows to replace them. Project Runway starts next week! I have hope it won't be a suckfest like 6 was! Having fun finding other gems like How that Works and Bartender Wars and Pawn Stars. Also back next week!

I got my Hot Topic shoes in today too, and 2 of the 3 fit well, and they all look even more awesome in real life. Love those clearance sales!

I know! My coworker had to clue me in, since I never watch Lifetime, otherwise. Yup, same time, same place! Project RunGay already got to view the first episode and it sounds really promising!

Ah reading Death Note from the Library. I did that too! Although I couldn't get all at once... somebody had 11 for the longest time. I eventually took 12 & 13 to spite them & wouldn't return them until 11 was back on the shelf. ^_^

I avoided that series for the longest time cuz of all the teen girls squealing over it. But it is actually a pretty awesome story. Although now I understand even less why girls would like these boys. They creep me out with their anti-social/selfish evil ways.

I caught up with the bleach manga a while back but I just can't get into that story all that much. Not sure why, it's not that badly done... I just find myself not really caring about most of the characters I guess.

I keep up with Shippuuden on Hulu since I can get it uncut & subtitled there. In fact... I pretty much only watch TV when it's available on Hulu. Currently watching Cosmos & Babylon 5. I kinda miss Glee even tho I half hated that show.

Yeah, I think that's why I stayed away from it, too! Then I was like "Eh, I'll just leave an episode on while I do stuff" and it was like, oh this is actually kind of deep. It doesn't really fit into a genre like all these other ones that have become so predictable. Yeah, there's really no one to root for. I like Ryuzaki cause he's so eccentric, but there's not enough backstory to him to have a proper personality. Do they actually give him one?

Yeah, I know Tatton loved it a lot, but I really don't like that soul reaper chick with the black hair. And yeah, everyone else is kinda meh. I usually do other things while it's on. I will say that most of their pronounciation of japanese names is far ahead of other dubs though.

What's Cosmos? I didn't think I'd like Glee, either, but yeah, need to see where it's going! No probs on the rambling, it's the most I've seen from you on here in awhile, lol.

Cosmos is an old science educational show by Carl Sagen. It was aired back in the 1980s. I mainly started it cuz I was curious about Sagen, I hear a lot about him but my public schooling didn't really teach me anything about him. So I'm discovering for myself. So far the episodes have been really interesting. Even if the special effects on the animations are rather dated.

I don't mind Rukia too much from Bleach. I get more annoyed by that stupid Kon lion/fake boy thing. And all of Ichigo's family. I thought I'd hate the Orohime character but I really like her compared to all the other characters. Chad's alright too. Most of the Soul Reapers give me "are you effing kidding!?" feelings when I see them tho. They are just so... ridiculous.

Dubs in general are getting better. But I find I can't swith between the dub & sub without getting irritated. So I have to stick with whichever I started with.

I really like musicals, so I love when they are singing on Glee. But I hate highschool drama crap so I hate all the rest of Glee. And I hate that they let Rachel sing all the damn time. I find her voice awful and take offense to their constant "Rachel is so GOOD! She's go the BEST voice! She's our STAR!" crap on the show. I know that techincally she's a really good singer. I just don't like high pitch overly enthusiastic singing.

I know I don't post much anymore. I kinda use the status message on Facebook for updates in my life & so LJ gets ignored. I should give my LJ more love then I do.

Hmmm. After I next get paid and dole out money, I might have to hop up to TM and see if they've still got the pretty shiny Karito Kid(s) I wanted.

I understand the buckteeth concerns with the AG dolls. Sometimes I look and wonder...

I do the same with my friend's CPKids if they have teeth. Especially on those ones, it looks like they're going to come after me and gnash the flesh off my bones or something.

Which KKs do you like? Hey, if they have the purple party dress will you pick it up for me and I'll pay for that and shipping of course. I'd be very grateful since they didn't have it here!

Of the ones they had, I wanted Ling something fierce. I don't remember which of the others they had (not many), but when I go back, I'll keep an eye out for the dress. :)
