I'm still alive!!

zalliaI want to thank every one of you who said such nice things after the Remy post. It really meant a lot to me in a crappy time.
Anyway, I'm doing much better now. I realize now that I've been in a pretty depressed funk for the better part of the past year, but I feel like I'm ready to leave that behind. Deanne expressed interest in going to some sort of organized exercise thing and we've found a great CHEAP step aerobics class. The only difficult part is that it's 5:30pm and oft times my schedule calls for 6pm closing or even 9pm, but it's 5 days a week so that gives leeway and I've talked about walking on the 6pm days with Robert and Daniel on the trails. I'm so glad someone else wants to work out with me though, since I really need other people to keep me excited about things and really hope we can do this consistently. I really need it!
Library Week is ending and it was stupid fail, but at least it's over. I had to do practically everything and was in panic attack mode since last week. Ugh, now that's a week I didn't get to spend my supply money and I need that done by the end of the month. Also to figure out the annual report this year. Blech.
In theory, I'm still on for Socorro on the 24th for George's birthday. I already got his presents in the mail. Bought Naomi a belated calendar for her birthday. Mom got a Russian Barbie with my BFC discount code and one of the madame alexanders when on clearance at Tues Morning that she had wanted and we all chipped in to get my dad an ebay gift certificate.
In turning around the new me, I've also decided to be more proactive in making the things I want to happen, so this Sunday we're having a picnic at the zoo. We're all making side dishes for each other and we'll ride the train and wander around and just have fun I think. It should be really nice. :) Looks like storms, but that's usually at night around here.
I'm also hoping after Soccorro to get everyone up to Alamagordo for the space museum and White Sands. Gah, busy month. But we have to do things before it gets too hot. >_> Robert offered to take some of the burden of planning that off of me though. Yay!
Oh and Snarky_Imp, I've got Flat Stanley in my possession so he'll be going to the zoo. Since he came blank though, it took awhile for me to comission a coworker to give him a face-up and coloring. She chose frightened for some reason. Alien abductions? They didn't include a deadline, so do you know if there is one? I'd like to take him to Socorro and the Balloon Rally in early May, but not if it means he gets there when school's out, lol. I should've just emailed you, but I keep forgetting...
