Hello, everyone! How goes it with you all? It goes good with me. About time for an update I would think. I'm hoping to do this more consistently once school begins. But who knows? Let's see, first off it's going good cause I have a lot to look forward to. Yu-gi-oh movie is coming out this week as is Alien vs. Predator. I'll have to go see both with friends, which is always a blast. I've got several trips to look forward to, too. This weekend the family's going to Ruidoso to pick blackberries and shop. George and I are going to try and go up to Albuquerque sometime soon to shop. His friends said I could stay there too, and shopping's always good. Really looking forward to Ohayo Con so I can see Tatton again. I miss him so much! And it'll be my first con! Wai! I think we're still going with the Cardcaptor Sakura theme for costumes, but that could change. Todd promised us a cultural fair at the college and my mom's working on a kimono for me. I think that could be really cool. We can take a cue from the Mega64 guys on our booth. ; )
George and I went to Ruidoso this past weekend to pick raspberries and had a lot of fun. It was just like Sakura! We went to a flea market too, where I got some cute stuff including dice earrings and cute little Japanese? figures. We also had Anime Club, with Hana Yori Dango and Naruto. We had all kinds of fun ninja hjinx, but I don't think Todd enjoyed it so much. Hee. Gregory the giraffe is awesome, though. We'll have to plan our Amanda's 3 or 4 heist for him. I'm reading HYD manga too, but 36 volumes?! Lordie, it's gonna take a lot of time and money. Sunday was role-playing and boy, it sure has been fun these past 2 weeks! And....*trumpet fanfaire*...
We won! Well, not with everyone who started, but me and Guillome finished it off good. It was an epic battle for the ages and many wacky plans and zany adventures along the way. We work pretty well together and we get things done really fast. I'm not sure what we're doing next. Maybe more Star Wars until George sees more Naruto. We got the 12 swords, each in its own wacky way and oh my god, how I do love Coinspinner. They combined though, when we got the last one into the Soul Blade swords, but then we went back in time to kill Todd's character and that somehow fixed it. Oh well, I'm just glad I got Coinspinner back. : D
Oh yeah, Paul and Kamil are in town. YAY! I hope they get to role-play with us, cause they were a ton of fun last time. Maybe we can up in Ohio too, cause Tatton was a blast as well. Even if they don't, it'll be cool just to hang out again.
I've been having trouble getting my school schedule straightened out, but I'm sure it'll all fall into place. It'll be nice to go to school with people I know again. Work's been okay, but they're going to teach me how to deliver mail, which....feh. But I'm getting money and so I can buy lots of neat things like anime grab bags and games and everything. I got a new PS2 even so hopefully I can get caught up on game-playing. Gamefly is working out pretty well and I currently have Lifeline which is a blast. Well, it's really frustrating, but it's also addictive somehow. Crazy Boobsie and her whims.
Well, I guess that's it for now. See ya'll in the future! Watch the Amazing Race Tuesdays and Saturdays!

Date: 2004-08-11 12:41 pm (UTC)I miss anime club a lot. I hope we're having one this week. traveling out of town is fun but I haven't seen you guys in like 2 weeks now.
I don't think I"m going to be able to do a kimono. I have no money. *sniff* It's not fair... stupid college is sucking away all my funds.
I may not even be able to do a costume for Ohio. *cry*
I guess Tatton could take my place as Mai Lin.

Date: 2004-08-13 02:56 am (UTC)If you're looking for PS2 games (I imagine you probably have a backlog of games to play), I'd recommend Disgaea. It's an RPG/strategy hybrid that can't really be done justice with words.
Well, take care of yourself.
