Hair dye=xanax

Although even that didn't fully eleviate my depression this weekend. Still worried about the job stuff. *sigh*

Anyhow, I went in for the hair treatment on Saturday and I was thinking the blue she had was a bright turquoise, but it turned out that I misremembered (after 5 months? noooo) and it was more of a deep blue. Since the base dye had come out darker than I thought, I didn't want to put dark on dark, and after needling my mom, I chose hot pink instead. I might've gone green, but she was out. :( I took some pics, but because of the anxiety, didn't get them uploaded this weekend, so hopefully tonight if the work day goes well and I'm not a spazmess tonight.

For some reason, McCain is coming to Roswell tonight. Wesley Clark was here yesterday, but at freaking 11am on a Sunday so nuts to that. I'm gonna try to go to the rally tonight though even though I already voted after the hair thing. I just think it will be fun to say that I saw a candidate in person and I sure didn't want to go to the Palin one. I might've gotten sucked into the vortex of eeevil. And I used to like McCain once and felt a bit of that again on SNL this weekend. Unfortunately, the thing starts at 5:00pm which is just when I'll get off work and it's at the airport (they never move farther than 2 blocks from the tarmac, heh. Oh wait, Bush did eat at Nuthin' Fancy) which is clear across town and will be at least a 15 min drive. But hopefully city officials will be yapping before that and buy me some time. If not, we'll just shop at Target since Mom's not too keen on this anyways, but I always do stuff she wants to and she didn't want me going alone since thanks to stupid daylight savings time, it's pitch black when I get off work at 5 freaking pm.

Cuuuuute! Although the McCain one looks very angry. I feel bad for the Biden one and did briefly entertain the notion of bidding on him.

I want to do NaNoWriMo this month, but since I can't get mom's laptop running again, I haven't done anything with it. If I could just get it to power up, I could delete the crap I downloaded and fix it cause that's what happened last time, but no luck thus far. ;_; I almost called in today so I could get stuff done but I woulda felt too guilty. Is Snarky_Imp the only other one doing NaNo?

Guess that's it for now, until I get the pictures going. *^^
