zalliaHola, again! Guess what? I got another Hello Kitty appliance to add to my collection! This time it's the angel phone! It's ginormous but very cute. Her wand and wings light up when the phone rings! I thought they were supposed to flap too, but my imagination I guess.
I've been learning to play mahjong and it's really fun! I've wanted to since reading the Joy Luck Club and it was kind of complicated at first, but I'm getting the hang of it. My boss is teaching me, Mom and George to play, so we try and get in a session on the weekends. Maybe I can teach the anime club to play it too, if anyone wants to learn. I'm also having a tough decision with which mahjong set to get. Too many choices! Gah. But if we get one soon, I can take it to show off at the Culture Faire. ; )
We ran into Guillome at school today, which is good. I was worried about him since we didn't hear from him at all last weekend. Just a family sanfu and he's alright, so it's all good.
It's also good to be back at ENMU-R. It's hard to explain, but there's just a friendly comradarie down here that was absent up in Portales. Needless to say, I'm glad to be home.
I think we're gonna go see RE this weekend. I expect it to suck, but Guillome's paying my way, so at least I won't be paying for it. : P Silent Hill 4 should be here from Gamefly soon, too and I really look forward to seeing that one. It looks soooo creepy! I'm squeeing already! Kyah!
I got Rounders Special Edition DVD today too. Lotsa goodie commentary and extras. I can't wait to watch it! But geez, I swear! Everytime I buy dvds from Target the plastic parts that keep the dvd in place are broken and the dvd is sliding around. This was the only one left, but hopefully the scratches are superficial. My freakin' Simpson sets are all broken, too, so I have loose discs rattling around. Bug!
Oh and an update on the paper from last night. I get it turned in. 11:59pm on a 12:00am deadline. Bwa ha ha! I'm also getting more into One Piece for some reason lately. If anyone knows who the blue-haired chick is in a couple of the endings, please let me know! I can't find her on a site. Or if you have any Folder5 songs, I'd love to have them! Arigato! I just realized I need new avatars for this site too...hm. Gotta look for those.
