I already got that dvd lot! That was crazy fast! And from Kentucky no less, not even texas or something.
Sadly though, the sailor moon S set in it is the Japanese release, not the american. CRAP! I thought I made sure on that, but I guess not. I need to see how ambiguous the auction was. The Paranoia Agent set is Japanese as well, so hopefully the subtitles are not too janky for Xarx and Sunni.

I also found out this morning that the new children's librarian is leaving already. While normally I don't care too much about staff changes, it's right before Summer Reading!! AGH! I thought I had finally rid myself of this albatross, but nooo! Even she was driven away by it. Well and a lot of other crap, but I still think SR had a hand in it. I hope they get someone by fall so I don't have to do that fairbooth again. *weep*

Close to it. Apparently Kate was being a megabitch to her and even sabatoging her by telling her how to do things wrong and complaining to Betty and fighting her when she wanted to make changes! We didn't even realize til the OM filled us in today. But also she lost her brother last month, so she thinks it will be better to be back with her family on CO. She was actually trying to instigate some change that that dept sorely needs. Lame. :(

Are they bootlegged discs or actual official discs?
I've got no problem reading subtitles. I watch all anime subtitled now. ^_^

I'm pretty sure bootleg. They're like all those other japanese dvds I have. And on those the subs have been pretty hit and miss. Some really well done to where you can't really tell and others where the text cuts off on the screen and the translations look like they came through babelfish. -_-

I remember that one time we watched an anime & the subtitle was so long that it went off both ends of the screen. What was that.. Death Lady or something like that? It was such a retarded subtitling error. Could they not use their enter key?

I think it was Devilman. Luckily it was so horrible, that it's fine that I don't watch it again. :p
