Aaah, memories...

xarx and I are reminiscing about old role-playing games. I went through serisun 's journal and found a few adventures there and am in the process of going through mine, but stuff's still spotty. So, Naomi, would you like to get together and log our adventures? I'm willing to type it all up if you guys can provide memories and choronology. Even if you just list out what you remember, I can work with that. And then Naomi could draw a few pics or something since that would be easier than doing the webcomic like we'd talked about.

Man, I really miss that stuff. Even if I moved to one of those two's places, I don't think the groups would hang the same like we did. I'm sad now, realizing that I'll probably never roleplay again unless I move away from here and even by that time, I'll probably be too old.

Anyways, for you guys not there, we did the table-top roleplaying thing for awhile. Well xarx and serisun still do. Well, Sunni larps...Anyways, the first we did was Star Wars and that one was broken up cause George/xarx didn't live down here at the time and we had to do it during trips. Then we moved on to the anime one, but interpersonal stuff kind of marred that, though I still recall having a lot of fun with it. I still love Fae Victus. (He was my wolf. That held multiple degrees. And kicked ass.)

We got to be big old goofballs during it and get really creative with the solutions to problems. Like disguising one of our own as a luau pig to bring two warring tribes of ninjas together in order to slaughter them. Or throwing poisoned fruit as a weapon. Or filling a space pod with exploding fezzes we got from the stoned moneky travelling with us. (I don't know, either.)

Anyways, I'd like to drudge up the adventures we had, so you guys can post here or write it up in emails or your own LJs or whatever and I'll start a compilin'!

The good thing is you'll never really be too old. Each gaming group is different, but the ones I "roll" with here are generally pretty silly and fun to be around. After a game we often just hang out and play some other games or have late night dinners. It's been really nice that I've been able to be the player once again as opposed to just a gm. Just this weekend I actually got to punch a giant Mech into a building with a car!

How did I forget about the monkey and exploding fezzes? "Ah, let's get high!"

oh those were the days. I do miss our particular style of gaming quite a bit. I could probably get people here to do it but I think the special ingredient is you, sempai. You make the memories happen. lol.

I'll try to write some things I remember down later. I'll have to go re-reading my journal too.

Yeah, I do seem able to brew my own particular brand of crazy. I miss those times with you guys. :*(

oh our roleplaying days were ended before I moved. They were ended by that interpersonal stuff you mentioned. :P

I guess I was really into DDR back then. OR at least into posting about it. I wish I had posted more about our games, anime club, or college hang outs.

You should still think about living here. :P
