I may actually have found a travelling partner!

I've been talking with Robert and Deanne about doing the Ruidoso thing for the miniature golfing, but talking to Deanne today, she hasn't seen much of the lower half of the state and I've been getting major antsy about just wanting to drive somewhere. I feel weird going by myself though (which is strange since it didn't bother me when I was in Portales, but I guess being back with friends/family makes me seem too loner and my mom would worry, but I won't get into that since it still pisses me off...) and she seems up for Carlsbad Caverns or White Sands and the Space Museum in the future. So maybe we can start doing a little road trip once a month. I like driving, she likes navigating and Robert likes flaking so at least that would still leave 2 of us. I sometimes get the feeling that she's not really that into being around me, but it could just be my neurotic/low self-esteemy tendancies, if she's willing to do this. Though with the way things go, she'll probably announce in two weeks that she's found another job and is moving out of the city.... >_> Hopefully George comes back down to visit around my birthday, too.

 

I want to buy a doll, but I'm not sure if I should. Though the CC will roll around by the time the Albuquerque trip occurs, I still need to put the hotel on it and get reimbursed later. The 2 cc bills were O_o this last go around, but I've kept the Visa pretty clean for this statement, but that's still with 2 weeks to go. And I owe about $150 on taxes. Which is much better than in the past, but still grrr-worthy. I'd need clothes for the one I'm looking at too and oh yeah, will need to pay Megan when that dollmore order comes in. Cherished Friends had the Tonner Capt Jack doll on sale for $90. I'm tempted since he's awesome, but....not sure what he would do other than sit there, so I think I'll resist. I like the Elizabeth Swann dressed as a pirate too, but maybe she'll drop further. Or should I save up for another big doll? But what if DDE never opens up AS orders again. Gah!! Stupid expensive dolls. How I hate to love you....

Oh, I got all my work money spent on time, too! And it all got approved! Yay! I even had enough left over to get a language learning database for all those dang people who keep asking about Rosetta Stone. It's software people! It would be illegal for us to have it!  No Japanese though, but maybe I'll learn Spanish...
