Holy crap, we may actually be able to do a book series!! From what I can tell we can do a 32-page, full color paperback book at only $10 a copy! That's without making any profit, but that's not really my goal in this venture anyways. I've got blurbs for several of the books written up and I've actually managed to write a few pages for the Deanne book. I was going to do the pyramid one, but since we're going to need to do the photoshoot soon, I really need to get some kind of storyboarding done since we'll only have an hour or so before or after hours to use the Library. It's been so much fun drafting up the crazy stories and we've managed to work in some other people that I never even thought would be interested. I'm really looking forward to the Steampunk one, but the costuming's going to be a bitch.

It looks like the next few weeks are actually going to be fairly busy. I'll be up in Albuquerque for NMLA Wed-Saturday, then the following weekend is the Balloon Fiesta and that Sunday, the 3rd is when we're planning to go to Ruidoso and then the next week is when George will be down and we'll have to get the photoshoots in and hopefully be able to jack around and play games, too. Oh and then the next weekend is some SAFE block party thing that Robert and I will have a booth for the library to sign people up and do bookmarks with the kids. It was actually enjoyable last year, so hopefully this year won't be bad either. And then the weekend after that is my birthday! Geez! lol Sadly, that's probably going to be the least active weekend. I hope all this stuff actually works out!! *crosses fingers*

I've been sketching out the necklace & eggs for the cover. Do you mind if I evil up the eggs a little with some red veins? They just look so boring being plain white, lol.

story boarding was one of those things I never got graded well on in school. Mainly because I didn't see the point in fancying it up when rough line drawings got the point across well enough. But I guess if I actually had to make them for other people.. I'd had to up made them pretty.

Shops that sell steampunk apparel & accessories. yet another reason why you should live in Phoenix. :P

Oh take whatever leeway you want! Book covers NEVER match the inside anyways, right? and more evil will entice the imaginary customers to buy it!

Yeah, mine are just going to be stick figures or even one sentence descriptions of what pictures I think will work. I need to get a list of props going too. That's in two weeks though and I'm going to be gone for this one! Gah!
