Day 3 - Favourite Outer Senshi




Sailor Saturn/Hotaru Tomoe

Not just my favorite outer, but she's also right up there with Usagi as my overall favorite character. And yet, I've never really thought about why I like her so much. So here's my attempt.

Her whole life/story is pretty much heartbreaking, but she never complains, never gets angry, she's just overall gentle. But then in battle, she's like the ultimate badass with giant, sharp glaive and the ability to destroy the whole freaking world. She also manages to do that with grace and elegance. She also manages to bring out the best in Chibiusa and the other outer senshi, as they all automatically become for less annoying or more interesting when she's with them. She's also freaking adorable in child form, too. <3

I'm always torn between her & Pluto for my favorite outer scouts.
But I do like how she stoically accepts her duty as being the ender of the universe when her queen calls. It is a much more interesting story then Pluto's "I'm just out here guarding a gate to time (but not well)" back story task.

Neptune & Uranus I like for their ruthlessness but they never really get the in-depth back story that we get watching the inner scouts grow into their powers so it's hard to really identify with them.
