FINALLY got the library's copy of Monster High in my hands! Not sure why I was so impatient since based on reviews and my own readings, it's going to be pretty sucky. Oh well, hopefully I can at least get through the whole thing.

Yeah, I couldn't get past the third page last night...I'll get back to you with a count of just how many brands/names/labels/pop crap words were dropped just in those three pages.

I think I made it through exactly one Clique book for that reason. And then later she claims that dude, she's totally against all this superficial, name dropping thing and I'm thinking, "then you failed miserably at showing that."
