Trip Preperations

Slowly whittling down the To Do List of stuff. Good thing I like making lists or I'd be a total mess preparing for something like this. I killed most of the day though just trying to find travel headphones and Target (the place we started and last place we looked) was the only one that had the clipover phones. I can't do buds cause I'm pretty sure they caused my tenitis in the first place, but that seems to be what most everyone has anymore. -_-

Then Mom came over to help me look for that damn Sakura costume. After tearing apart the storage room, I saw a HK trashcan and realized I was pretty sure I had seen it in a trashcan. Sure enough it was over in the green room in plain site shove in an orange trashcan. If only I'd realized sooner. Also it's missing the cat ears and I spent another part of the afternoon looking for the wand or a kero plush to no avail. And I need to find a black shirt to wear underneat since the other one i used is long sleeved. So I'll be lucky if anyone even recognizes the costume at this point except for hopefully Seri's association will clue them in. -_-

And while checking my flight itinerary yesterday, I realized that AA only allows one checked bag. WTF. Southwest let me take two, so I had to revamp those plans, as well. Target had luggage on clearance so I ended up getting a purple set with a fairly large one and 3 other pieces. Hey, it matches my hair! Man, I'm spending more preparing for this trip, than I probably will at the con. -_- <--I seem to be using this face a lot. :/ At least I got the con ticket in the mail today, so I won't have to bother with that. And I found my talking Trump doll and a really neat Sailor Moon doll while looking for that other stuff. Oh and my video camera charge cord! Yay! I also saw a LOT of stuff I can part with so massive sales will probably take place once I get back. For you guys that don't know me in RL, I have an entire bedroom pretty much filled to the ceiling with boxes of toys and stuff. So, that'll be fun.

Most of the other stuff is figuring out what clothes to take and the jewelry and toiletries and packing it all up. I'm still not sure what Pullips I should take. Any thoughts, dolly collectors? There was one person who said she was going to the con, but I haven't heard from her since a few weeks ago so I figure that's a bust. I need to compete with the bjd people that are going to be there. *^^  Oh and how retarded is it that i'm going to go through like 3 time changes just to fly to phoenix? I have to go all the way to Dallas and then backtrack. So I leave Dallas at like 11:10 and get to Phoenix at 11:40. *eye roll*

Wow, one free day and all I got knocked off were three things. Suck. :(
