Bad bad Zallia...

zalliaWell, the last post I think was just me being cranky from one of my sleep headaches and just happened to fall on val's so I was just pissed at everything as a whole. I did end up buying stuff that night...and the next night...and today. Yipes. Not to make myself feel better! They were actually really good deals! Well not the VGs, but the other suff!
So even though I felt crappy, I still went with Mom to Target since I had a 10% card burning a hole in my pocket and bought Twisted Metal: Head On for the PS2 and Karaoke Revolution: AI Encore for PS2 as well, since I had planned on buying them anyways.
OMG if they had left those TM endings in the original I don't think I would have played any more of the series. They are HORRIBLE. No production values, terrible writing, zero acting ability, just wretched. Calypso has a perfect oval of burned face. And his posse or whatever consists of trashy girls wandering around in bikinis and guys wielding guns with NO shirts. Pick a side, Calypso...I could only watch a couple before I was going to throw up. It's like Captain N, best watched in the company of others so at least you have someone you can vent to about the horribleness of it all. Haven't played it much beyond that though since the competition part is pretty much identical to the PSP version, but there's the thing with Sweet Tooth being on foot that I need to try.
Then...there's KR. Man, I loved the first 3 entries in the series, but I don't know if it's a fight to get copyrighted songs or what, but these latest ones leave a lot to be desired. There's a handful of songs I really like, but then 75% of it is stuff I actively hate or just don't know WTF it is. And this game showcases the worst covers yet. They are seriously not even close to the original singers and it's really distracting. I did discover that Glamorous is the worst song ever "written". It's so repetitive and mind-numbing, God, was that really the best they could come up with? I would have rather gotten behind My Humps or Fergalicious cause at least those are funny-bad. Well anyways, songs that are good: Bohemian Rhapsody, You Can't Hurry Love, Walkin' On Sunshine, Glass Heart, What Is Love...hm, I think that's about it. *sigh*
I slept a little bit thurs early thurs night since I knew an auction was ending at 11. And yay I won! It's a lot of Pinky St parts. Looks like complete sakura taisen and a few other pieces, but since I mainly just want to see what the fuss is about, I wasn't too concerned about choice. And someone did try to snipe me at the end, but haha, I was there too! Worked out to about $5 a pinky so I was cheered up after that.
So Mom's all into sewing doll clothes now, which is cool in some ways, but bad in others, since she drives me nuts by not listening to things I say and making things more complicated than they need to be. She was trying to win a Momoko body on ebay that went too high even though I told her the pullips are about the same size. I've been wanting a Momoko for awhile, but couldn't justify the price of a pullip for something that's little more than a better painted and dressed barbie. But looking around, I found someone clearancing out one for $68 w/ shipping so...I bought her. It was from mimiwoo and since they had the obitsu hand set that stupid Junkyspot wouldn't email me back about and some acrylic eyes for my poor empty-headed arietta skull, I bought that stuff too, not that it saved me any money on shipping. Freaking Hong Kong sellers.
Saturday, I bought my obitsus so 2 of my girls will finally have boobies! Craziia's getting the big ones and Sou the medium. I think she'll get more attention than Jupi and look cuter with the optional hand set. Too bad Purezza's all business cause she's still my favorite to play with, but I just can't see her wanting to play with Sailormoon hands.
I got my Sugarmag grab bags in the mail and yeah, not too impressed, but there was only 2 I really wanted anyways. Mom likes them though cause of the little details, so I gave her one.^_^
Uh..and then Saturday night, I won another pinky on ebay. Single figure, but she's holding one of those cats I wanted, so I don't need to buy anymore...I think.
And today, I bought Alte even though I didn't plan on buying any more pullips until Cinna and Asuka in March. $65 fully stock including shipping though! I wanna give her blue eyes, maybe? She looks too much like Holly stock, but I guess I should leave one girl a brunette. I really dislike(hate tantus)the May releases, so I think unless JP ups their game, I'll just get a few of the older ones I want. Namely Nero, Nomado and Prunella. Maybe Sage.
Sorry to the friends who don't know what the hell I'm talking about in the last few paragraphs! If you want links or pics I'll happily provide them, but my guess is ya'll just glazed over and don't give a rat's ass! ;P
PS-This new Knight Rider is weirding me out and lead bitch is old and ugly.
Oh yeah, I also figured out after a season and a half that Torchwoord sucks. If any one shows up they're either going to make out with Jack, make out with female lead and die sadly. Every 5 eps, they'll make out with a different TW member. Seriously, isn't this what everyone makes fun of the first Star Trek for? And female lead is seriously unsympathetic trying to horndog on everyone while having a perfectly nice fiance at home. Hag.
