Well, the internet at work was down this morning. Luckily, I figured it would to it when I didn't want it to and saved my radio copy to one of the work computers and then just had to rush to enact some changes I made last night. The DJ that I usually do the interview with though, quit or got fired, not sure which, but it sucks. The new guy wasn't too bad, but I can tell it's going to take a while to get the repartee down. I miss Matt though cause we would talk about our cats afterwards and he had the library stuff memorized and could freelance questions at me. *sigh*

And trying to remember all this crap for how to do the NMLA stuff. I guess it's only been 2 years. I should ask my boss, but I've already asked her enough stuff today. And then a reporter was just here and took pictures of me and I'm in falling-down pants and uncut hair. Blech. I was afraid it was going to be about the stupid internet porn police thing, but I guess it's just on how the library works. Hopefully they don't use that picture.

And we keep almost having winter, but then it just turns into horrible dirt storms and it's back up to 70 the next day. It's snowing in the city an hour and a half away from us! I wish to know what this precipitation is that I learned about in school before I have to start milking a cactus. :P

BUT, in one good news. I didn't want to mention it last post cause I was afraid I would jinx it, but it looks like I'm going to be getting this niblet for $50!

No face up since $50 is just too much for that, so I'll practice a few times to see if I can stumble on some skillz. If not, I'll be waiting to see how Megan's chemobaby turns out to possibly comission her faceup artist.

And CherishedFriends came through and found a Leader of the Pack kickit and offering it to me for $20. Done deal. But Mom wants to keep that damn Tiny Betsy complete so I have to order another one to steal the dress from and they've upped the price on this sale. I really want this Alice, too,

but I'm hoping she'll drop lower since there's about a million other versions Tonner's made of her. It's so hard not to order Vera's head right now since I know it's going to take some time after for it to actually get to me, even though I'll be charged right away. I don't wanna be patient, though...
