zalliaWell, I managed to survive yesterday. Went home with a blazing headache and terribly cranky attitude though. Subway mostly cured it (though it would have been nice if it had olives and actual bacon instead of pieces of fat...) and at least I didn't have to get up early this morning. Watched the Oscars, no idea why since I haven't seen ANY of the movies nominated except Dark Knight since none of them came here of course, though they didn't interest me enough to go download or anything either.
I got to work today and Rosie let me know that Robert got the Circ Supervisor job! And we all breathed a sigh of relief that day.
It's looking to be a dolly-filled week! Got the ship notice for Kaela and R this morning from Pullipstyle, Wed's probably too soon, but hopefully Thursday. My resplendent little Sweet shipped today too, and since she's only coming from Texas, I'm really hoping for a Wed delivery for her. Especially since I have 2 meetings with the boss that day, I think I'm going to be in desperate need of a pick-me-up. Leile's on her way to the buyer, left China yesterday and I'm hoping is EMS, which means she'll probably get to me early next week, assuming the seller ships her fairly quickly. And it sounds like Little Cornice is waiting for me at Mom's. Whew!!
I don't think I'll end up buying her, but look how cute this little niblet is! So tiny and presh!! Aww!

Oh and as for the title? It's currently 80 degrees here at 6:00 at night, so I'm sure it was even higher this afternoon since the high tomorrow is 85. Everything is dead and brown and I can't even remember the last time we had precipitation. And I know it's the desert, but trust me, it's only been this way the last few years. I knew snow...once...long ago...
