OMG I think I might have won my holy grail of Sailor Moon cels. I'm still waiting for confirmation from Shoppingmalljapan though so that I know for sure. Gah! This wait!

Heh, no worries, I think everybody I've been spazzing at has asked me that question and even having them at work, I was still fielding confusion.

They're the pieces of art that are used for animation. Paintings on clear plastic that are used in the filming of shows or movies. So they're an actual piece of what was seen on TV! Like having a prop from a movie set or something, I think.

That's a pretty good picture so you can get an idea of what it looks like in real life. It just trips me out that this was an actual part of the show that I watch on TV.

This lot (that I still don't have word of, grrr!) has a few cels from my favorite scenes ever of her as the princess, plus a bunch of others apparently that aren't even shown, so if this does go through it will be like anime cel surprise bag. :D
